Invensure Pro is a technology platform operated by Laptop Clinic NW Ltd. By accessing this platform, you acknowledge that you are using a tool designed for data collection and evidence storage. Usage of the software constitutes an agreement to these terms.

1. The "Platform, Not Provider" Clause

Laptop Clinic NW Ltd provides the digital infrastructure only. We do not act as an agent, landlord, surveyor, or legal representative. We do not verify the physical condition of properties.

The User (Clerk, Agent, or Landlord) assumes 100% legal liability for the accuracy and honesty of the data entered. Any report generated is a reflection of the User's own observations. Invensure Pro is not liable for disputes arising from "missed" damage or incorrect property descriptions.

2. Professional Conduct & Anti-Fraud

This platform is built for the "Narrative of Truth." Any attempt to manipulate evidence is a breach of contract. Prohibited actions include:

Historic Photos: Using images from previous tenancies to hide current wear or damage.
Digital Manipulation: Editing photos to alter the appearance of property condition.
Compliance Falsification: Manually overriding safety certificate dates without valid documentation.

Laptop Clinic NW Ltd reserves the right to terminate accounts immediately and without refund if fraudulent activity is detected. We will cooperate fully with UK law enforcement and industry regulators (ARLA/Propertymark) in cases of professional malpractice.

3. 2026 Regulatory Compliance

While Invensure Pro is updated to reflect the Renters' Rights Bill and the 2026 UK Housing Act, the responsibility for legal compliance remains with the User. We provide the *tools* for compliance; we do not provide legal advice. It is the User's duty to stay informed of their changing legal obligations as a Landlord or Agent.

4. Indemnification

The User agrees to indemnify and hold Laptop Clinic NW Ltd and its officers harmless from any claims, losses, or legal fees resulting from:

Negligent or fraudulent use of the software.
Disputes with Tenants, third-party contractors, or government bodies.
Failure of the User to secure a physical signature or digital "Sealing" of a report.

5. The Immutable Audit Trail

Our service to the UK Court System is the provision of Tamper-Proof Data. Once a report is "Sealed," the underlying data is encrypted. Laptop Clinic NW Ltd will testify, if required by a court, to the integrity of the timestamp and the fact that the data has not been modified since the Sealing date.

6. Data Protection (GDPR)

We are the Data Processor; the Agent/Landlord is the Data Controller. We store personal data (Tenant names, addresses) solely for the generation of property records. Data is never sold or used for marketing. All records are stored on secure, UK-compliant encrypted servers.
